Amid Dubai’s push for clean energy transition, the 2025 Dubai International Energy, Environmental Protection and Water Treatment Exhibition (WETEX) wrapped up successfully at the Dubai World Trade Centre. As a leading provider of fluid handling solutions, BSK showcased its advanced pneumatic diaphragm pump technologies tailored for water treatment and environmental protection sectors, drawing broad attention from global industry professionals and securing multiple intended cooperation agreements.

Aligning with Market Demand: Showcasing Targeted Water Treatment Solutions

Hosted by Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), WETEX 2025 focused on “Advancing Green Economy and Sustainable Development,” gathering thousands of exhibitors and professional visitors from across the globe. BSK’s booth highlighted pneumatic diaphragm pump systems designed to tackle the Middle East’s unique water treatment challenges—such as high-salt byproducts from seawater desalination, industrial wastewater with abrasive solids, and municipal sludge conveying.

Key exhibits included BSK’s food-grade and industrial-grade pneumatic diaphragm pumps, featuring shaft-seal-free designs that isolate media from mechanical components to prevent leaks. Built with durable, corrosion-resistant materials, these pumps stand up to acidic/alkaline wastewater and fluid with particulates. Their ability to handle solids also ensures smooth conveying of sludge—an essential advantage for local wastewater treatment facilities.

In-Depth Exchanges: Resonating with Global Industry Professionals

The BSK technical team provided on-site technical support and consultancy services, attracting attention from professionals across various industries. Discussions centred on integrating BSK pump products into key local projects.

“A major challenge for our desert-region wastewater plants is equipment wear from sand and corrosion from high salt,” noted an engineer from a UAE-based environmental company. “BSK’s pumps address these issues with durable materials and clog-resistant design, which fits our operational needs well.”

Fruitful Outcomes: Forging Partnerships for Middle East Market Expansion

The three-day exhibition brought tangible results for BSK: the team secured multiple intended cooperation projects covering municipal wastewater treatment, photovoltaic hydrogen production wastewater handling, and industrial effluent processing. A key partnership includes a preliminary agreement with a Saudi Arabian EPC firm to supply pumps for a large-scale seawater desalination plant.

“The Middle East’s commitment to clean energy creates huge demand for reliable, low-maintenance water treatment equipment,” said Ms. Linda, BSK’s International Sales Director. “WETEX gave us the perfect platform to show how our technology fits regional needs. We’re excited to support local sustainability goals with tailored fluid handling solutions.”

Looking Ahead: Deepening Localized Support

Building on this success, BSK plans to strengthen its presence in the Middle East by expanding localized support—including setting up technical support centers and optimizing inventory of corrosion-resistant pump models to meet urgent project timelines. The company will also work with regional distributors to provide faster after-sales services, such as maintenance training and spare parts supply.

As global focus turns to the Middle East’s energy-water transition, BSK’s participation in WETEX 2025 reinforces its role as a trusted partner for efficient, durable fluid handling solutions in the global environmental protection sector.
