BSK mining duty pneumatic diaphragm pumps (BQG 220/0.1, 410/0.1, 490/0.1) — MA-certified, air-powered, run-dry safe, passing solids up to 9 mm. For mine dewatering, mill discharge, tailings and filter press feed.
Mining Duty Pneumatic Diaphragm Pump
A pneumatic diaphragm pump is a new type of conveying equipment, and one of the most innovative pump types on the market today. Using compressed air as a safe power source, it transfers corrosive liquids, liquids with large solid particles, high-viscosity fluids, and volatile, flammable or toxic media — with no electric motor or shaft seal in contact with the product. BSK mining pumps are built for the harsh, hazardous environment of mine sites and carry the MA mining-product safety certification required for use in underground coal and metal mines.
BSK offers three frame sizes for mining duty — 1½”, 2″ and 3″ — covering 378 to 903 L/min, with cast iron, stainless steel, aluminum alloy or PP/PVDF wetted parts. Abrasive slurry passes straight through without straining or clogging, and the gentle diaphragm action does not shear or degrade the slurry. The pump is run-dry safe, self-priming from a dry suction line, and can be submerged in sumps and pits.
BSK mining pumps use a professional air-distribution (air champ) design that cuts air consumption and running cost, with a modular air motor for easy field maintenance:

For filter press feed, long-distance slurry pipelines and high-head transfer, the BSK 2:1 high-pressure series doubles the outlet pressure of the air supply — up to 1.4 MPa liquid outlet pressure — in 1″, 1½”, 2″ and 3″ sizes, with aluminum, cast iron, stainless steel or PP/PVDF wetted parts.

Security. Air-motor driven — no electric spark; low heat generation during operation, suitable for flammable atmospheres; handles muddy water; capable of dry running. Safe for gassy and wet underground sections.
Reliability. Classic air-distribution system; strong, well-sealed structure with high suction lift — built for continuous duty in abrasive slurry.
Efficiency. Modular air-motor structure for fast on-site maintenance; low air consumption per litre pumped keeps running cost down.
Portability. Among the lightest in the AODD industry for its size, with a lifting cage for easy movement between working faces and galleries.

To complete the suction and discharge line, BSK supplies a matching accessory range for the BQG mining pump series:
Accessories are supplied in coated carbon steel or stainless steel to suit the wetted duty. Tell us your connection size and pipe standard, and we will match the set to your pump order.

The BSK pneumatic pump controller is a single air-management unit that regulates, filters and monitors the compressed-air supply to the pump — holding flow steady and protecting the air motor from wet, dirty mine air.

Mounted directly on the pump or on adjacent pipework, the controller keeps the air motor running on clean, dry air — extending diaphragm and air-valve life in wet, dusty conditions.

For abrasive slurry duty, pair a wear-resistant diaphragm (Santoprene or Hytrel) with the correct ball and seat material; use PTFE where chemical compatibility with acids, cyanide or flotation reagents comes first. Temperature limits above apply to the diaphragm material, not to the whole pump.
To select the right size and wetted materials, tell us: slurry specific gravity and solids content, maximum particle size, required flow rate, discharge head and pipeline length, and the reagent chemistry involved. Our engineers will recommend the model and confirm air consumption. Send your duty conditions through the contact form or reach us on WhatsApp — samples of the slurry are welcome and can be tested.
